

Submit the appropriate financial report(s) to the President. Supervise the preparation of departmental budgets to secure necessary program resources and submit budgets to the President provide input to the President in the preparation of the total school budget monitor the budget during the year.Recruit, interview, hire, develop, evaluate, develop, and terminate faculty as appropriate.Supervise the instructional program in order to assure the developmental growth of each student.Maintain a curriculum in the school which meets the needs of the students and which reflects sound, current educational practice.Provide liturgical and para-liturgical opportunities for the students, faculty, and staff of the school.Provide a program of religious studies in accord with the guidelines established by the Office of Catholic Education.Develop within the faculty and staff an appreciation of the uniqueness of Catholic education and the importance of the Mercy Core Values.Implement the philosophy, policies, and practices approved by the Bishop and set forth in the handbook issued through the Office of Catholic Education of the Diocese of Trenton.The Interim Principal serves on the President’s Team, and is a non-voting member of the Board of Governors. The exercise of such authority shall be in accord with Christian justice and charity and in the context of a collegial Christian community. The Interim Principal is delegated authority commensurate with the duties of the position. In partnership with the President, the Interim Principal provides for the total educational program as approved by the Bishop and regulated by the Superintendent of Catholic Education. The Interim Principal is the educational leader of Notre Dame High School.
